The Last Meeting of the Year

That would be today at 1pm! I can’t wait to hear everyone’s updates. I also want to have things to give. X_x This week has been so overwhelming. Crazy! But I can’t wait to set up my summer schedule so that K.E.P. is a big part of my week! It’s exciting! I want to accomplish a lot this summer. I hope everyone involved in K.E.P. for the summer feels the same! Okay, off I go to attempt to salvage my tasks. Another post will follow… eventually!

So much to do…

So we had our weekly meeting today, and I came out a little dizzy! =P

We are carefully thinking about what plans for the future are in the best interest of this group. We’re worrying about sustainability, as usual. We’re worried about deadlines… okay, maybe we’re worried more about deadlines for K.E.P. being somewhat secondary to deadlines for classes. All the current members of K.E.P. will be facing finals soon. We’re scrambling to provide organized content for a first version of our website (finally! YAY!!! Alex and Joel are FANTASTIC!)! We’ll have more abstracts soon. Stressful, but rewarding.

Lots of things! I just can’t think of them all at this moment. X_x I’ve sent out the emails for tonight, so I’ll probably be working on more puzzle pieces later. I’ll make illustrator work for me. Even if I do it in a slightly roundabout way.

As for this blog… why can’t I see my blogroll? <=S  And why are my fonts different in this post?  Oy…

Starting is the Hardest Part?

I keep thinking about all the deep and meaningful things I need to post. If I keep this up, I’ll never post anything at all! So let me just begin at the beginning.

I’m Gia. I’m a member of K.E.P., Knowledge Equals Power. And I believe in looking at all different types of media and news sources because it helps us understand the world. I believe in diverse perspectives and caring about my home town and my home planet.

Here I will blog about my experiences with this group. Feel free to respond! We’re working on a website, so I will proudly be linking that as soon as we have it up! So exciting. ^_^

Anyway. Time is always getting away from me, so I must go run it down again.
